Visual Artist. Blanca studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design; She attended art courses and workshops in Mexico and USA.. As an expressionist and abstract visual artist, she experiments with textures and mixed media, collage, assemblage, art objects and digital art. She has exhibited fourteen solo and more than a hundred group art shows in Mexico, USA, South America, Europe and Asia, participating at international contests too. Her artworks have appeared in books, newspapers and magazines in Mexico, Argentina, Europe and New York. She gives lectures and workshops in Art Appreciation and Creativity. She has won eight international Art Awards.
Artist's Statement
"My paintings are intellectual and emotional reflections of my life as a Mexican woman. The act of painting is what motivates me. I enjoy the process of creation. Textures, impastos or drippings are expressing events in my life with Mexican traditions. Geometric, Figurative, Expressionist or Abstract paintings emerge while I play with colors, textures and forms, as life plays with me."
